LinkedIn has introduced new features to make it easier for advertisers to track conversions and improve attribution accuracy. Here is a roundup of what’s new on LinkedIn for 2025!

Conversions API (CAPI) and Revenue Attribution Report (RAR)

In recent weeks, LinkedIn introduced two new features namely Conversions API (CAPI) and the Revenue Attribution Report (RAR):

Conversions API (CAPI) enables users to connect first-party online and offline data to LinkedIn, thus enabling tracking conversions from website actions, phone sales and in-person events. When integrated, data is sent directly from a server to LinkedIn to measure campaign performance.

The Revenue Attribution Report (RAR) in essence will connect CRM data to LinkedIn campaigns, enabling longer-term tracking. The RAR feature extends review periods up to 365 days, which will be a welcome feature for companies seeking to compare data sets. The RAR will additionally help to easily track revenue impact, alongside offering deeper insights to refine campaign strategies and increase ROI.

Enhanced Badge Renewal Process for Top Voices Program

LinkedIn announced in early January that they intend will roll out a new badge renewal process for its Top Voices program, which are those people with the blue badge on their profiles. Previously, there was no specific time length of how long you’ll have the badge and this will now change.

As LinkedIn explains, ‘’Top Voices are a select group of global experts, leaders, changemakers, public figures and innovators on LinkedIn. The program is designed to recognize members who consistently demonstrate expertise and leadership in their respective fields in ways that educate, inspire and inform the larger community. Active members of the Top Voices program receive a blue badge on their profile identifying them as an expert on the platform’’.

Over the coming months, badge holders will be a Top Voice for a default period of six months only. Badges will then be extended based on meeting specific program requirements like sharing regular valuable knowledge and insights etc.
